Because they’re made of TITANIUM, the temperature of the braking system doesn’t affect the rubber seals as much as it does with aluminum couplings. That’s why couplings from the CBR series are so commonly used in professional racing. Added to this are the more compact design, triple locking mechanism, and lower weight compared to the SPH series. However, this comes at a price!
The coupling allows for quick and clean disconnection of hydraulic lines without fluid leakage or air entering the system. They are compatible with DOT 3 & 4 brake fluids, as well as racing fluids.
