This adapter set enables the installation of steel flex brake lines on radial handbrake pumps.
The problem is often that the connection is not accessible.
The adapter makes this possible.

To date, no ABE or registration has been required for this adapter. We therefore classify this part as "registration-free".

MOTUL Brake Fluid DOT 5.1 0.5 liter

Manufacturer's specifications:

Fully synthetic polyglycol-based brake fluid for disc and drum brake systems with manufacturer's recommendation DOT 5.1, DOT 4 and DOT 3.
Recommended for vehicles with anti-lock braking system (ABS).

Dry boiling point: 269 °C
Wet boiling point: 187 °C

Standards: DOT3, DOT4, DOT 5.1, SAE J 1703, ISO 4925

Advantages:

• Miscible with all DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 products.
• Miscible with the predecessor Motul Hydraulik DOT 5.
• Particularly long-lasting brake fluid due to the high wet boiling point.
• Easier fluid circulation in the precision mechanics of anti-lock braking systems (ABS).
• Corrosion-resistant; behaves neutrally towards seals in the brake system.
• Replacement intervals: Between 12 and 24 months (depending on the manufacturer's recommendation).
• Carefully seal and store in the original container to prevent moisture from being absorbed.
• For safety reasons, brake fluids should not be refilled, but replaced!

Warning: Not miscible with silicone-based brake fluids (DOT5) and special fluids such as LHM. Fluid can attack the vehicle's paintwork

HEL-Performance® Combined Rear Brake Pump, 13mm Piston Diameter!

The combination brake pump for the rear wheel was developed so that a pump on the handlebars (whether thumb brake or pull brake) can be used in conjunction with the foot brake for the rear wheel. This is often required by the rules. In such cases, the foot brake must remain in place. However, an additional hand-operated brake pump is permitted.

The new combination brake pump has two connections:
            A) M12x1.00 thread for the handlebar-mounted pump (e.g., thumb brake pump)
            B) M10x1.00 thread for the line leading to the rear brake caliper

So how does it work?
Quite simply, the pump on the handlebars can be operated as long as the combined brake pump is not pressed.
The pressure is routed directly through the combination brake pump to the rear brake caliper.

However, when the handlebar pump is pressed, the combined brake pump can also be actuated.
In principle, the two pumps are arranged in series.

If the combined brake pump is pressed, you can press the handlebar pump as much as you want. Nothing happens because the inlet (M12x1.00) is “sealed off” by the piston in the combined brake pump.
