The HEL Performance radial brake master cylinder has now become a staple of the racing scene.
Machined from solid material (housing and lever) and a real steal for less than 300 euros!
It is available in two versions:
a) 19 mm piston diameter ( 19 x 18, 19 x 19, 19 x 20 mm)
b) 16 mm piston diameter ( 16 x 18, 16 x 19, 16 x 20mm)
Both the housing and the lever are milled from solid material at HEL Performance in Exeter (UK) using brand-new CNC machining centers. The housing is nickel-plated, and the lever is black anodized.
The newly developed brake levers come with two inserts that allow the pump’s gear ratio to be adjusted as needed.
Insert 1) has a center hole, while Insert 2) has an off-center hole.
Simply swap or rotate the insert to set the desired gear ratio for optimal control and brake feel.
The pumps are designed for use onboth the right and left sides of the handlebars !!! The bleed nipples and the brake line connection have the same thread (M10x1.00). This allows either the brake line or, optionally, the bleed nipple to be used at both holes.

HEL-Performance® 4-Piston Radial Brake Caliper (1 Pair) (INTRODUCTORY PRICE)
HEL Performance brake calipers are available with a MotoGP-inspired nickel coating. Each caliper is equipped with 2 pad retaining pins. To replace the brake pads, simply unscrew the pins briefly and swap out the pads. The calipers should be blown out with air before reinstallation to ensure that the internal surfaces are clean. Separate bleed nipples ensure that the bleed point is located at the highest possible point on the caliper. Our brake calipers also feature a complete, circumferential fluid path. This means that fluid flows in a complete loop through the brake caliper, making it easier to completely remove air from the system.
Our brake calipers weigh 715 grams (without pads) and are equipped with stainless steel pistons. Stainless steel acts as a heat sink, dissipating the heat generated by braking. The brake fluid heats up less. The boiling point of brake fluids varies depending on the type of fluid used. Storing the heat in the pistons instead of heating the fluid improves braking performance over a longer period—perfect for the track.
We manufacture our brake calipers exclusively on state-of-the-art CNC machines from solid 6082-T6 billet aluminum. Many mass-produced brake calipers are forged, but this limits their design possibilities. The forged parts must also be machined for threads and the internal flow path, as the forging process is unable to produce these details. We offer the very highest product quality.
