HEL-Performance® 4-Piston Radial Brake Calipers (1 Pair), Rear Side with Cooling Fins (INTRODUCTORY PRICE)
HEL Performance brake calipers are available with a MotoGP-inspired nickel coating. Each caliper is equipped with two pad retaining pins. To replace the brake pads, simply unscrew these pins briefly and swap out the pads. The calipers should be blown out with air before reinstallation to ensure that the internal surfaces are clean. Separate bleed nipples ensure that the bleed point is located at the highest possible point on the caliper. Our brake calipers also feature a complete, circumferential fluid path. This means that fluid flows in a complete circle through the brake caliper, making it easier to completely remove air from the system.
Our brake calipers weigh 715 grams (without pads) and are equipped with stainless steel pistons. Stainless steel acts as a heat sink, dissipating the heat generated by braking. The brake fluid heats up less. The boiling point of brake fluids varies depending on the type of fluid used. Storing the heat in the pistons instead of heating the fluid improves braking performance over a longer period—perfect for the track.
We manufacture our brake calipers exclusively on state-of-the-art CNC machines from solid 6082-T6 billet aluminum. Many mass-produced brake calipers are forged, but this limits their design possibilities. The forged parts must also be machined for threads and the internal flow path, as the forging process cannot produce these details. We offer the very highest product quality. The finish is breathtaking, with every part machined to CNC precision. We maximize weight savings and minimize material consumption. Radial mounting of two-piece brake pads with two pads per caliper.

The calipers are designed to accommodate stock brake pads for well-known supersport motorcycles. This gives you a wide selection of brake pads from almost all manufacturers and suppliers. We currently offer EBC FA390 brake pads as an option. In our extensive testing with renowned top riders on various race tracks in Spain and England, as well as in road use, these pads have delivered outstanding performance and results. The EP pad compound has ABE approval; the GPX pad compound is a pure racing compound without ABE approval. Comparable brake pad types for: SBS = 809, DP = DP950, Vesrah = VD-170, Ferodo = FDB2181, CL-Brakes = 1134 (Source: SBS.dk), TRW = MCB755 (Source: trwmoto.com)

Both the housing and the lever are milled from solid material at HEL Performance in Exeter (UK) using state-of-the-art CNC machining centers. The housing features a high-quality, modern CERACOTE coating, and the lever is anodized. (CERACOTE coating is also available in many colors as a special order)
The mechanical lever ratio can be easily adjusted to your personal preference using an integrated component. Super fast and convenient.
The newly developed brake lever is mounted to the housing with just a single screw. This makes it very easy and quick to replace the entire unit.

Replacement lever, suitable for the radial brake pump HBP-1 from HEL Performance
One-piece aluminium lever, CNC-machined, black anodized.
This lever has a fixed pivot point, i.e. WITHOUT the insert for changing the lever ratio. (In the picture it is the lower lever)
The lever is also designed so that the Schlater unit on the handlebar/throttle grip has no space underneath it. This means that a throttle grip alone works well, but the lever is unsuitable with the usual Schlater unit.
